My website is down - a 3-minute checklist Print

Deep breath — most "down" reports resolve in one of these:

  1. Hard refresh (Ctrl+F5), then try another device or your phone on mobile data. If it loads there, it was caching.
  2. Check for an unpaid invoice in your client area — suspension for non-payment is the most common cause and lifts automatically within minutes of payment.
  3. Changed DNS or nameservers recently? Propagation takes up to 48 hours; intermittent behaviour during that window is normal.
  4. Seeing a WordPress "critical error"? That's usually a plugin or theme update misbehaving — don't keep retrying, just tell us; we can restore from last night's backup or disable the culprit.

None of the above? Open a ticket with your domain, the exact on-screen error and when it last worked — during staffed hours you'll typically hear from us in about ten minutes.
