Every UKBox plan includes free SSL that issues and renews automatically, so a "Not secure" warning is nearly always one of three things:
- Brand-new domain or recent DNS change — certificates issue automatically once your domain points at us, usually within an hour or two of DNS settling. Patience genuinely is the fix.
- Mixed content — your certificate is fine, but a page is loading an image or script over plain http:// (very common after migrating an older site). We can locate and fix these references for you.
- Typing http:// explicitly — try the https:// address; we can add a permanent redirect if one's missing.
Not obviously any of those? Open a ticket with your domain and we'll check certificate status immediately and force a re-issue if needed.
