Set up your email on iPhone, Android and Outlook Print

Your UKBox mailbox works in any mail app (Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail app, Thunderbird). Use these settings:

Incoming (IMAP) serverserver.ukbox.host · port 993 · SSL/TLS
Outgoing (SMTP) serverserver.ukbox.host · port 465 · SSL/TLS · authentication on (same username and password)
Usernameyour full email address, e.g. you@yourdomain.co.uk
Passwordyour mailbox password (not your client-area password)

server.ukbox.host works for every mailbox we host, whether or not your domain's nameservers point at us yet, so use it when you are setting up a brand-new account. Once your domain is on our nameservers, mail.yourdomain.co.uk works too and gives the same result.

Always choose IMAP rather than POP — IMAP keeps your phone, laptop and webmail in sync.

Webmail

Log in at https://webmail.ukbox.host with your full email address and mailbox password. That address is plain HTTPS and works on any network, including office wifi that blocks other ports. (The older :2096 links do the same job but some networks block that port — if a webmail link gives "connection closed" or "can't be reached", use webmail.ukbox.host.) Your control panel is at https://cpanel.ukbox.host on the same basis.

Troubleshooting in one move

Log in at webmail with the same address and password. Webmail works → the mailbox is fine; re-check the device settings above (server name, port 993/465, SSL, full address as the username). Webmail fails → open a ticket with the exact message you see and the email address (never the password); if you have just signed up, check your domain has been registered and points at us — a domain that is not live yet cannot receive mail, though webmail at webmail.ukbox.host will still open.
